Chen Zhe Yuan manages to give Si Yue this balance so that he appears just like the typical boy next door. How the entire drama really focus on the character development in all the characters, lead characters and supporting characters alike. I really like this drama. Our Secret was heartwarming and reminded me of my high school years. It was the best time of my life, as well as the most confusing time.And Ding Xian also taught him that it’s okay not to be perfect all the time. Zhou Si Yue didn’t realize that he was burdened by the word perfection. Everybody saw him as the epitome of perfection and he was also afraid that Ding Xian only liked him because of his perfection. Only when he was facing difficulties, Zhao Si Yue was anxious that he couldn’t protect Ding Xian as he wanted to do. Sweet interactions between the male lead and female lead. How Si Yue is protective of Ding Xian, how he looks at her and how they both constantly support each other. Even dropping the book I was reading to start this baby. And I am so glad I did. I needed a sweet romance and this hit the spot. Sha Di and Zi Qi get together in Episode 14. She confesses first after their high school graduation. But they break up in Episode 16 when Zi Qi gets suspended from his studies. He hides in Si Yue’s home to avoid Sha Di who keeps searching for him. They reconcile in Episode 19 when she finds out where he has been hiding.Rewatch and rewatch Never expected this drama to be so good. Everybody has such good chemistry and the plot is so good. Bear in mind that this is a school/youth genre, so don't expect too much crazy plot twists or strong villains. Ding Xian insisted on entering science class even though she must oppose her mother and Zhou Si Yue surprisingly wanted to enroll in liberal arts class. But, fortunately, Ding Xian came at the right time to give her application form to their teacher. Otherwise, they will miss each other for the next few years…😆 the FL did an excellent job in expressing a desk-mate who gradually falls in love with someone who she never thought she would and thinks he doens't reciprocate her feelings. she portrayed a girl chasing her love in a charming way and we can't help but root for this cute couple pairing. I don’t see how a romance drama can fail when both of them are so cute and so active and so flirtatious in their pursuit of one another.
