But we also see him grow a lot in his maturity, not just in the series but just in this first book. I love how Paolini develops his characters, including Eragon. For those unfamiliar with the Inheritance Cycle, it is a four-book fantasy series that follows the adventures of a young farm boy named Eragon and his dragon Saphira, as they battle against an evil king and his army. The series is known for its intricate world-building, complex characters, and thrilling action sequences. Now, take a look at this very sentence in the prologue.
