Description

Overall, this is a great acoustic combo. In my opinion, it has everything that you need from an amp of that size. It sounds great, it looks good, it’s very functional and it’s not overly expensive. Who needs anything else? I’m personally using the Fender Acoustasonic 40 for small gigs and I have to admit that it works very well and it’s really durable. It’s much louder than the 15-Watt amp, so it gives you ability to perform in larger rooms. On top of that, it has a built-in reverb.

It sounded excellent in the mid range, too. It had plenty of punch, which ensured strong projection while not overpowering the vocals.Enough about the amps’ impressive aesthetic and specifications; let’s get to where the rubber really hits the road for any musician: how does the Acoustasonic 15 sound? Tone On The Fender Acoustasonic 15

Fender Acoustasonic 15 is a solid-state amp which features 15 Watts of power and a great sounding 6″ speaker. On top of that, the manufacturer equipped this model with a 3-band EQ and a built-in chorus effect. In general, you can’t expect a super loud sound from this small amp, but it’s quite versatile for what it is. Without the extra effort to put on a mixing board or effect pedals, this small amplifier can offer a decent vocal/guitar balance. Pros And Cons Pros: The Fender Acoustasonic 15 is the perfect acoustic guitar amplifier for use at home or small gigs. Fender have been making guitar amps for over 60 years so they really know what it takes to make a great sounding amp and keep it affordable too! Also the perfect companion to other small electro-acoustic instruments like Mandolins/Ukuleles etc. Here's what Fender say about the Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Guitar Amp I have to admit; I wasn’t expecting the Acoustasonic 15 amp to sound anywhere near as good as it does. It’s made by Fender, so I expected quality, but wow! The tones produced are warm and rich, with none of the tinny overtones we’ve come to expect from portable mini-amps. Truthfully, I was expecting Fender to blow Pyle out of the water in terms of tone, but I was pleasantly surprised; the fact is, the Pyle produces a warm, pleasing tone that belies its small size.

The Compact 60 is super-practical. Its birch-ply cabinet is boxy but compact and light enough to take on public transport, and it is ideal for stage or the studio. Secondly, there are heaps of player-friendly features here and they’re all simple to use. There are four presets for the effects.

Like the Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge, you can take this amp anywhere, with the choice of AC power via an adaptor at the wall or 8 AA batteries. The batteries are housed in a removable carriage and can be recharged. It’s not quite as elegant a solution as charging the Loudbox at the wall but bear in mind that should you leave your charger at home you can get batteries anywhere at a pinch. When it was first launched in 2017, we believed that the Acoustic Singer Pro raised the bar when it comes to the best acoustic guitar amps. The latest addition to the series, the Acoustic Singer Live LT, was unveiled at NAMM 2020 and offers a stripped-down version of the Pro and Live formats. It has a smaller footprint, is more affordable, and while it does not have the onboard looper, vocal harmoniser or dual DI, it nonetheless has a suite of features that make it ideal for live performance. The Compact 60 has long been a favourite of professional players for its exceptional performance, delivering a crystal-clear transparency that doesn’t step on your acoustic’s tone.
