Woody and floral with fresh citrus accords, Armaf Ventana is a bold, masculine cologne formulated for men. Overall what comes to Ventana it tries hard to be Sauvage but lacking the pepper notes it falls short and doesn't quite get there unfortunately. Ventana to me has a long mid stage and not much of an opening, the pepper/lavender/star anise is very prominent at this point. It's also a refreshing take on Sauvage which might be getting a little dated since everyone has it or had it in the past and there's so many dupes out there. I am probably one of the only people on this site that hasn't sampled Dior Sauvage so i'll dodge that comparison for starters.

Yes, it smells like Sauvage - actually surprised me at how closely, and yes it has decent longevity. In terms of this being a clone, I'd say it gets to about 85-90% similar to Dior Sauvage, not perfect but there is a strong similarity between the two which becomes more prominent as the fragrances develop. Eventually I will test out how long Savauge will last me, and if I can get a Solid 6-8 then I would just end up sticking with Savauge. Hi my first review on fragrantica community, I agree armaf ventana has some similarities with DS but it’s completely sucks in performance, totally watered down!I have tested few times Sauvage on skin and it is just unbearable for more than 1 hour, it is very strong and overwhelming. Ventana has the bright, metallic and synthetic blast that Sauvage does, its LOUD, albeit not as loud as Sauv. We’re over 100° daily where I live right now, so I’m thinking nighttime on this one until we dip back toward double digits again.

It contains notes of grapefruit, lemon, mandarin orange, geranium, lavender, patchouli, vetiver, cedar, amber and precious woods.they just angry because they spent a fortune on Sauvage while armaf successfully cloned it for less than 20 bucks. Had Armaf spent more on ensuring greater longevity than in producing this dog’s dinner of a bottle, then that would have been money well-spent. I blind bought it and I am glad I did, if you like Sauvage just go for it, is ridiculous how close this is. Better than a random fresh scent from Zara but not better than what you would get from Hugo Boss, Versace, Montblanc or another mid tier designer. If you think Sauvage EdT and EdP smell almost the same then this isn't an issue for you, but I can smell a pretty significant difference between those two concentrations and like only the EdP.
