The author put in the perfect amount of darkness, thrill, tension alongwith the psychological details being the cherry on the top. I liked watching her narcissistic, I-will-always-be-the-last-man-standing tendencies rise to the surface, but aside from that she was all over the place. I really love the homework done for the Psychology based elements of this book as they were super well done and everything seemed to make sense.Throwback to that time last year when I'd gotten so good at folding paper swans that I'd managed to pretty perfectly fold this nano Swan that fit in the pads of my thumb. Grayson Sullivan: Convicted murderer, Killed criminals, Genius level intelligence, Obsessed with Dr. The best thing about Trisha Wolfe's writing is that the plot is heavy and detailed enough that the characters feel real. As said, I really enjoyed the psychological aspects of this story as well as the ways details of both main characters' pasts were peeled away layer by layer as the story progressed.

This man might’ve been behind bars for the past year or so, but that doesn’t stop him from playing with London’s body and mind, and the end result is raw, passionate, and PRIMAL. idk if it's lawyer in me talking but i didn't feel it's justified just because he was killing rapists or people like that. I need more time to arrange my emotions, but one thing that I know is that this is definitely a fantastic book. The "Lovely" series brought me to Trisha Wolfe but now I have to read every single thing she's written while I await book 3.

But what if, although their methods are not acceptable in society, deep down if our loved ones were hurt we wouldn't at least in our darkest moments, consider the same actions? That said, I did feel like the romance takes a backseat to the psychological thriller aspect of this book, which is totally fine; however, that might also be why I find myself less than highly motivated to pick up book two - which is surprising what with how much I enjoyed this one. As I said before, I do consider it a bit more of a psychological thriller than a romance, but it still had some romantic elements. It's been a while since I've read something that had me all invested and anxiously anticipating the next course of actions. this book probably won't change your life and i think some of the psychology was dubious and a little overdone.

The characters are amazingly written plus the intense tension between them like they were barely touching and I was ready to burst into flames. Initially it seems like the motive is for Grayson to get out of custody, and make London fall in love with him, but as the story slowly unravels, you realize that there are layer. Come se non bastasse, ha anche un quoziente intellettivo altissimo, sa ogni cosa di London e di chiunque altro, gli basta schioccare le dita ma il suo cervello lo sa già.

In his therapy sessions with London we catch glimpses of his ingenuity and sometimes beneath his cold, hard veneer you could peek just a hint of vulnerability. That’s not funny but it does make an interesting, involving with a lot of twists and turns that lives you wanting more read. They were like two different poles of a magnet, attracting each other, unable to fight the gravitational pull. The way she carries herself, doesn't take shit from people, always does what she thinks is best for her including getting back at Grayson to protect herself and finally when she let goes of everything, accepting her past alongwith Grayson was what I needed. I’m going to do two things right now- add Wolfe to my to-look-out-for authors list and then start Born, Madly.

In all honesty, this is not only one of my favorite reads this year, but one of my favorites from author Trisha Wolfe.No seeing a therapist for me because after reading this story, I’m staying the hell away from anything that has an office and every other human being in sight. London’s every moment in Grayson’s presence was spend wondering if his emotions were contrived or sincere.
